A 44-year-old Walkersville woman is facing prostitution charges after she allegedly arranged to have sex with a police officer from the Frederick Police Department by mistake. The woman has been charged with solicitation of prostitution along with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Maryland trio arrested on drug charges after traffic stop

A Maryland trio is facing multiple drug charges after their vehicle was pulled over during a routine traffic stop. The charges against the trio stemmed from an incident that occurred on Friday, Aug. 8 around 3:29 p.m., when police officers reportedly noticed the 20-year-old driver of the car talking on his cellphone while he was driving.

Maryland man pleads guilty in child pornography case

A 42-year-old Stockton man who was charged with possessing and producing child pornography has pleaded guilty in his case. The charges stemmed from an incident that began on October 2013, when the man allegedly allowed a police officer to download pornographic images from the man's computer by use of a file sharing network.

Maryland man faces DUI after allegedly driving into building

A 20-year-old Edgewater, Maryland, man is facing charges in Anne Arundel County after allegedly fleeing the scene of an accident when he crashed his vehicle into an office building. The man has been charged with both a DUI and failure to remain at the scene of a property damage accident.

Maryland pro running back receives suspension for assault

Ray Rice, a running back football player for the National Football League's Baltimore Eagles publicly apologized to his wife for his actions during a press conference on Thursday, July 31 after receiving a two-game suspension and a half-million fine. The suspension, which came on top of an order by a judge placing Rice into a diversionary first time offenders program back in May, stemmed from an incident that occurred back in February when Rice allegedly punched his wife.

3 Maryland brothers to face charges in stepfather's death

A 14-year-old boy and his 11-year-old younger brother are facing charges in connection with the alleged shooting death of their 47-year-old stepfather. Police have also charged the two boy's older 23-year-old brother in the alleged crime.
